01-07-12 - Trainee Solicitor Begins Training Contract at DLS Law

DLS Law has been authorised by the SRA to take on Trainee Solicitors and is proud to announce that one of its legal assistants has officially started their training contract this week.

Antonio Nacca has begun his training contract, following a successful stint as a paralegal, which will enable him to become a fully qualified solicitor.

We asked Antonio if he had any advice for law students who are looking for a training contract. He responded:

I am extremely pleased to have obtained a training contract, given the current market.

My advice would be to work hard as it will pay off in the end and if you get the chance to work as a paralegal, take it and don’t hold out for a straight run at a training contract. If a firm feels like it has a top candidate who’s willing to go the extra distance already then they won’t look elsewhere for their next trainee.
